Night Shift

Every day it's the same thing. Back and forth from the oil rigs bringing the workers to their jobs. I took these shots of my chopper and I on a run to the rig!

Cleared from the tower, the bird lifts off the ground.

Heading out to the gulf for the hour flight.

Closing in on the oil rigs, the men start to gear up.

Starting our approach to the rig, strong winds and the sudden bursts of smoke make for an interesting landing!

I focus on the platform all the while feathering the controls.

Hold on guys, this is going to be interesting!!!

Dan, I got it here! Go get it. Makes for some interesting scenery. The airport is located right on the coast and it has some nice detail too!! The top of the page!!
