America West Heading West

Postby Fly2e » Fri Feb 27, 2004 9:30 am

Here is the Boeing 737-200 in The AMERICA WEST AIRLINES livery by SGAIR. I took off from Phoenix's Sky Harbor last evening. This airport is a major hub for this airline on the West Coast. The weather was perfect and the sunset was nice. Hope you like!!

Starting to rotate toward the sky.

With the tower behind us, the 737 starts to climb out.

While the gear retracts, my copilot and I look forward to a beautiful sunset. We will be landing in Las Vegas in just over an hour.
Image

Pulling up and out of the Phoenix airspace the jet responds with ease.
Image

Level in flight at 28,000ft, the small towns start to decrease in size as the vast desert lies ahead.
Image

I turn the aircraft toward our destination as the evening light starts it's colorful show.

Hope you enjoyed!!

Dave

Lets see.... I like numbers 1,2,3,4 and 5!  Those are fantastic!  The nose-sunset shot is my fav.  Is that the 732 in pg -4ish in FS2k4 civil jets here at simV?  I remember one there.
