Yeager's Glamorous Glen III

Postby SabreHawk » Tue Dec 02, 2003 10:18 pm

Hah! I found a repaint of CFS3's P-51D I really like.
Yep, it's Yeager's old nemesis...............Glamorous Glen III.
Hey, BTW is there a way to get CFS3 to go to windowed mode? I only get one shot per flight, If it would, I could stop and paste several shots per flight, but I dont see any command in the manual to switch to windowed mode, is there one?

Nice job, looks very realistic.
And I'm not sure about the windowing. :P

Nice shot. ;D ;D I don't think there is anyway to run CFS3 in windowed mode but what you can do is open your paint program before you open CFS3.  After taking your screenshot, pause, and then press Alt-Tab until your paint program is selected. :)

Try Alt-Enter. Also try using GrabClipSave, which automatically grabs a screenshot and saves it to a folder of your choice. Ten there is no need to run in window mode, and when you press Print Screen, the screenshot is automatically saved! I use it and I have found it to be very helpful.

Thanks for the comments guys, and also the tips.
Actually I tried the alt+enter thing but it didnt go windowed like Fs2k2/2k4 will, that's why I wondered if there was some other command for CFS3 that I didnt know about.
The alt+tab now that's something I didnt know of and that worked, thought not every time it seems to not like it, but I'll look for that grapclipsave thing, that sounds like it's useful. 8)

Nice shots SabreHawk.

Not many people seem to realise that CFS3 has an onboard screengrab feature. The key strokes are either Shift + ; or Ctrl + ;
I no longer have CFS3 installed to check. The shots are automatically saved to My Documents\Combat Flight Simulator 3 or similar.
Otherwise try MW's MultiGrab. http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk/index.htm
