There are 6 different texture files, each at around 24 megs each.  If you're not planning on flying it much I would recommend ditching all but one of them.  That alone will save you 120 megs.  The sound is already aliased to the Lear, so Silent's adding the sounds is almost required.   Why would you spend so much time making such a beautiful plane, then alias to a default plane?  ::)

I dunno, that Boxcar C-119 is real pretty, but its VC was, erm...  :P

That F-1 interested me, but the filesize but me off.  I only have a 56K you know!  If someone cropped down the size, I'd definitely download it!

If you're talking about the F-1, I agree.  The boxcar I don't know about.  The F-1 panel looks better than the 2d.  Too bad it's not clickable...

yup,i totally agree. that's why i fly the F-1 in VC mode only.

My dad used to jump out of C-119's in 1965 withe 82nd Airborne division,and told me that those aircraft were very unreliable, often times shutting down one engine when flying over the drop zone due tue maintenace issues. Mike
