Final?

Postby Scorpiоn » Sat Nov 01, 2003 4:42 pm

I nominate Nexus and TLUK. :o

It strikes me as funny that no one has shown off the water effects, or that all the shots are so zoomed in. ::) Just not what I would do though. ;)

Well, it's alot easier to work with close up shots. Less interference with the ugly ground textures, which really spoils this sim I think. And yes, the new water is nice, but I'm fed up with those kind of shots now.  :)
Thanks for the nomination btw, what do we win?  ;D

Yes, uh... I dunno...

Well, I'm easily entertained! Sometimes. ;D I could make you a banner I guess. ???

Personally I find close up shots show all the ugly details (sharpness) of the model's polygons.  But now you're also oblidged to upload a bitmap to Simviation for a splashscreen and wallpaper use! ;) If you want to, I guess.

I already have a splashscreen, it's even on the web, but in jpeg format (to save webspace)

Betcha no one even THOUGHT of using a C-47...

It's the same thing, different use...

And I know this is CFS2, so quality won't be as good....

And no, it wasn't edited. There's a feature in GCS that allows you to shoot in Grayscale, for the more 'old' look... ;D

Beat this!  I like this one a lot; I put a lot of work into it.  Now if I could only get that damn anti-aliasing straight... >:( :)

A DC-3 wings it's way past the Empire State Building one evening as the sun sets in 1948.
