Right I see the problem. Not sure what tweak Fido used but this looks OK to me. I couldn't see the point of downloading the "FS2004 version" so I'm using Paul's original CFS2 Mk IXc in FS2004.

I tweaked the flap entries in Aircraft.cfg like this.

[flaps.0]       //Trailing Edge Flaps
type=1
span-outboard=0.5
extending-time=5 <<-- I changed this to 2 as the extension seems too slow
flaps-position.0=0
flaps-position.1=85, 154 <<-- Change this entry to flaps-position.1=42
damaging-speed=154
blowout-speed=166
lift_scalar = 1.0
drag_scalar = 1.0
pitch_scalar= 1.0
system_type = 2

I added the entries in blue although they might not be necessary. system_type = 2 is pneumatically operated which I believe is correct.

PS. Nice shot PeteTLUK. Sorry to send this off-topic. :-[

Good to see you back. I didn't give the game away in that thread. ;)

Paul's CFS2 stuff is hosted at Sim-Outhouse. Look down the right-hand side menu.
