Good aproach, Very rough landing! Are you sure you made a clean landing or did you slam into the flightdeck and crash! ;D I noticed no final parking picture that shows the skidmarks to indicate that you made a landing! :-/

Are we trying to pull a fast one!  ;)

Carrier landings are very difficult with the Arrcab program alone. I think the only reason I make good landings is because my F14's airbrakes bring it to a quickstop!  ;D A little cheating but Hey when I touch down I hear the snag, I just make sure I don't go over board!

note the skid marks and the smoke from the tires coming to a abrupt stop! I think the smoke and the 2 knot speed shows a good landing  ;D!

This is not by any means easy. Show us a successfull landing and you will be a TOPGUN!  ;)

Did you read what I said?  I don't have arrestor cables yet so it was a touch and go or what the navy calls it a blolter when you don't catch the wires.

i dont understand why the guy who designed arrestor cables went payware...he could have left the freeware version  as it was and developed a newer version for payware maybe with a few new carriers or something in a package. now i will never be able to fly carrier landings again unless i buy it which i doubt it as i paid enough for the actual sim and not forking out any more for add ons :(

I know this has been a topic on here before, but would it be unethical (read: illegal) to email a copy of a FREEWARE version of ArrCab to someone?  I only ask because I still have my freeware version, and so many people would like to have it.

If it's a freeware version, I don't think it would be unethical or illegal.... chances are the author had probably stated that the program is freeware in his readme file.  You do present a good question, and I'm curious to know what others think as well.

Uh did you read mine Birdie! Don't get mad  >:(!
The arrcab program works and I know sometimes I miss the cable!  :o But having an F14 with the airbrakes working really great slows the Tomcat down real fast even if you don't have arrestor cables or if you even miss the arrestor cables! ;D

Dude mellow out  8) I am just pulling your chain to get you to try and make a carrier landing regardless of the arrcab program!  ::)
