;D ;D ;D Awesome pictures.  Can you imagine the feelings of the pilots sitting in their planes watching those sunsets?  "And all is right with the World"

Great work Lurch!

Do you make splash screens?  I'd love to see a splash screen pack made from those pics.  It'd be a good addition to the small FS2004 splash screens section of this site!

F-14 is a F-111 turned into something which was usefull on a carrier.

They were combat-proved a lot more by the iranians than by the US... Phoenix missile can take out a few Mirages at the same time if they fly in formation.

F14 has nothing to do with F111
The iranians had what? 5?
think of how many dogfights were won by the americans

actually Iran has 14 F-14s, all not airworthy and even if they were when we were kicked out of Iran, we made sure the weapons systems were inoperable

according to this source they only disabled the Phoenix missiles guidance systems, who did it is still a big guess.

iran clamed 35-45 downed iraqi aircraft (Mirage and Mig-21) and 12 machines lost because of engine failure

There are about 20 still flying... with copied AIM-7 and factory made AIM-9 and possibly russian R-33's. The radar is said to have been exchanged for a russian one too.
