Midway at Midday

Postby Fly2e » Wed Aug 20, 2003 7:16 am

Well it is high noon and the weather here isn't looking so nice as we depart from the beautiful Island of Aruba. I wish I could show you some of the wonderful white sands but with this rain shower and a tight schedule to keep, I am afraid you will just catch us leaving!

Image

The controller clears us for take off. We had such sunshine here the past 4 days. The locals did say that the showers here usually last a half hour and then the sun is back out.
Engines spooling, we start to move.

Image

The Fokker 100 leaves the ground and we head up into the grey clouds while the rain drives at our aircraft!

Image

We scream past the tower as the jet climbs up and away. The palm trees looked as if they needed a good soaking anyway!

Image

Gear up and all looks good. As I keep her at a 15 degree angle, I stare out the windshield into a grey fog; I know that in just a few minutes, my aircraft will be high above this mess with Mr. Sunshine giving me a warm welcome.

Image

As we rocket out of the grayness, we are surrounded by puffy white clouds. Good afternoon Mr. Sunshine, glad you could join us!

Image

Hope you like!!

Great shots,
I really like the quality of your screens in FS2004 (I hope that what it's in!?)

Anyway I'm one those few people still holding out, scanning the forums and watching screen shots before I make the change. Could you please tell me what your system specs are?

Thanks and again beautiful shots
Eric

I would have to agree Ken!

Liam,
Posted by: Liam Posted on: Aug 20th, 2003, I look forward too it, I'm sure you'll do a great job of embarrassing my graphic card.

If you knew my specs,.....I would be the one who would be embarassed!  ;)

WinXP, 1.4 proccessor, 512mb ram, 3 year old Nvidia graphics card and...............
alot of "tweaking" thanks to Ramsa. My PC cries every time I start up the sim,...."please no, no!!! No more overtime. Water, I need water!! "  LOL

I am about to change the vid card because the Nvidia is about to go on strike,,....It claims that it is over worked and under paid!!!   LOL

I must admit I thought with the great quality of your shots your PC would be better.
Still it's much better than mine...

850 MHz Celeron
128 MB RAM
On board 8MB graphic card. :-[

I am planning on upgrading soon, I just dont wanna spend so much money. :'(
