Why don't we all just agree to disagree and nuke the French instead?

Oh yes.............that was a memoral evening................and on their own turf too.
thing is, i dont think we will see that type of result again tho.............

After reading the posts i went off hunting any info on the new war of the worlds movie.......sad news....doesnt look like it is going to go ahead....it was delayed after 9/11 for approx 12 months, then there was a huge rights wrangling involving Jeff Wayne( he wouldn't release the rights to use the same storyline or titles or imagery) and since then, its been held in limbo. The production co. seems to be investing all its time in some project called 'Chrome'

lemme guess gate 18 heavy heathrow intl is where ur at? i have good eyesight  ;)  ;D

Nope, Stansted

or how about instead of pointing it at either country we just send them out to the middle of the pacific??
is that a fair compromise

I think I'll keep it aimed at England because then I'll Be thought of as less racist considering the fact that I live there

Last thing I read about the new movie was that it would be a remake of the 50's "B" movie version and not the original story. What a shame, I would love to see it done right and set in period. I've always wanted to see the Thunderchild take down the fighting machine as the steamer escapes.
