Chesapeake Bridge Tunnel

Postby RollerBall » Fri Apr 18, 2003 8:32 am

:(

cbxmaint asked about this the other day. Just to show MS doesn't make all North American scenery perfect, just look at this!!

Image

17 miles of fantastic engineering looks like a drain hole in the ground.

Don't pull the plug anyone.  And don't try to land on it cos you'll go straight through.

Is that the sim Jag? That car's harder to drive than a 747. The faster I go the more I swing from side to side until I totally lose control.

Here's an idea. How about setting up an online multiplayer Jag race. Think it would be possible?

Yeah its a hard thing to drive, i try not to push the throttle too much and its pretty confusing to drive with rudder control.

Yeah its possible, i tried to do it with some buddies once. You know, there is a Ferrari comin out soon, and Bman is makin one too; i think using sports cars would be much more fun  ;D

Just need to choose a venue - a nice big empty airfield with taxiways and runways that line up nicely.

Hey - or maybe we should use FSSC and create our own custom designed racing circuit that we could upload!

Yeah, that'd be awesome....maybe we could even make a circuit in Gmax...yeah..  ;D

;D it takes a goodun to get past Maccers.

It's because I'm a cheating bum - I didn't fly there. Started with the Baron on the ground in map view at Chesapeake Regional and found the bridge by slewing. Then F4 to get to the desired height - and a quick screenie

:( Sorry sir.....

Nice shot ??? ::)

The jag is a cool concept but it's a pain to drive. It's very unstable and hard to controll

I live near that bridge-tunnel and was disapointed at how it looked.  :P  I'm going to make a new scenery to replace it (along with the other bridge-tunnels in the area) some time.  Whenever I get around to it. :-D
