Seems an odd name for a jet. I was expecting shots of a microlight or bush plane.

Dowty experimented with ducted fans fitted to a BN-2A Islander back in the 1970s. It was given the registration G-FANS.My friend worked on it while it was being tested at Shoreham Airport. The Islander was later converted back to standard. We thought it was a failure at the time but I can now see it led to the turbofans used on modern jet airliners.
