Back from the holiday. No feedback on the sizes of images used in the last set, so for now I'm going to stick with the info given in the image uploading screen, i.e.
Max size per file: 1200kb. 2000 pixels wide Max size for all files combined: 8000kb.
I mean, if you're going to spend time looking at screenshots, you might as well look at nice ones, right? If anyone has a problem with the image sizes, just let me know and I'll make the required changes.
This week we have a couple of sets from Alabama in the USA.
Started from Jeremiah Denton Airport on Dauphin Island in the Gulf of Mexico just off the coast. Saw the causeway carrying the 193 from the mainland to the island, and flew around that a bit.
Then headed to the mainland and flew north up the western side of Mobile bay.
Overflew the port area of Mobile, Alabama's capital.
The whole area looks great.
Then headed out over the wetlands with their various rivers to Gravine Island.
Finally flew back to the northwest to land at North Mobile County Airport – a grass strip between Axis and the Mobile River.
I like flying in America partly because it's daytime there when I have time to fly in the evenings at home in the Czech Republic. This time there were storms, so had to use a default preset anyway. Whatever, it was a great flight.
Cheers
