Great shots! Number 3 got my vote for best pic. The water looks very realistic. Which product is it?

An Aircraft Mechanic only needs two tools, Duct Tape and WD40.
If it moves and it's not supposed to - use the Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and it's supposed to - use the WD40.

Ah, the quest for good-looking water in FS9. I wish I had a 1-step answer to your question. I'll try to 'splain my approach. There are two things which affect FS9 water appearance: water-class textures and a texture named OceanHeightField.bmp. The latter is in the Texture sub-folder, the former in Scenery/World/Texture. Modifying these textures make huge improvements in FS9. But my water is a mish-mash of different things from different authors plus my own mods. The basis for the waterclass textures, though, is a piece of freeware called OceanFx2. I don't remember where I found it, but it's probably on at least one of the major flight-sim sites.

The next puzzle piece is OceanHeightField. I've tried several different ones, including a few DIY attemps (Not quite as easy in execution as it is in theory.). I wish I could point you to a favorite, but mine is so scrambled up that I would need to do some detective work to find the author.

The last piece is the haze on the horizon. This is necessary because FS9 only draws the detailed textures out a few miles from the aircraft location. After that, it reverts to some de-fault texture which I don't know how to change. The change can be quite abrupt, depending on weather and lighting. By dropping the visibility to 8-10 miles, you get a nice haze effect which camouflages the transition. And I think it looks better anyway, even in FSX, which doesn't seem to have that limitation.

Having been through all that, there is probably a payware product which does all that with one click, but then there'd be no fun tinkering...
