New Mexico and Route 66...

Postby Fozzer » Sat Nov 21, 2015 6:06 am

Its approaching Winter-time in England now, with temperatures down to, and below freezing, when my Flight Sim thoughts turn to warmer places!

Lots of very nice scenery in the North-Western USA....but its always bleedin' cold up there!
Far too close to Canada, and the North Pole, so, for my flights over the Winter, (and any other time), they will always be in much warmer places!

I hate the English Winter-time with a vengeance known only to Atilla the Hun!.... ...!

At the moment, a flight from Albuquerque (Alber-Kirky), New Mexico, to Flagstaff, via Gallup, Arizona, following I-40 and Route 66 through the desert, where its nice and warm and cosy!.... :D ...!

Lots of Cacti and Rattle-snakes, but the desert scenery is very nice in places....and Palm Trees are always nice to see... ...!

...and who can resist a trip along the "Historic Route 66" at any time...with all the FSX Traffic down below.... I love it!

Not a very impressive screen shot, Chums, but at least I feel nice and warm!

...(Its all in the mind, you know!)..... ;) ...!

...and I can always fire up You-Tube, and watch the Harley Davidson Blokes enjoying the same route...in the hot sun!

Paul...."Get your kicks...", etc... ...!
