The moon and stars up above

Postby OldAirmail » Sat Feb 21, 2015 2:13 pm

I think that there are only a few of us who'll fly at night.

So here's a scenery replacement for those who do.

Hawaii Photoreal - Environment Enhancement Patch Part 1

PATCH NOTES:
– New high resolution textures for the moon, with different tones depending in its phases.
– New high resolution textures for the Milky Way.
– Increased number of stars (from 9.000 to 16.000). Credits for Chris Wright (AutoStarX).

They have some better, enlargeable, pictures on their website, but these are mine. :D

You city kids have probably never seen the probably Milky Way.

And while I'm at it, one more. :D

Great shots. My favorite time for flying it´s a sunset/sunrise hours, the ideal moment to the sight stars. I miss to have a sextant near to take the stars height over the horizon.

Thanks, Arkanoid.

FSX/P3d is so much better than it was a year or two ago, that I find any time, a good time.

Well...... not at 3AM Monday to Friday when I have to work the next morning. :D

In fact you've inspired me to change my signature, thanks again. :D
