It's all about the WEATHER!

Postby Skunkworks » Thu Jun 20, 2013 1:47 pm

First, thank you for looking! :D Second sorry if the screenies don't translate well because of the aspect ratio...wide but not tall

Typical Oregon and Washington weather!

...Weather... ....

Especially the cold, cloudy, damp, wet type, is always something I try to avoid in my GA Flight Sim...

...and also on my Motor-bike!... ...!

My daily, Sunny California flights are fine, but any further northwards (Oregon), and in starts to get uncomfortable!

Lovely shots...from the comfort and security of my living room!... ;) ....!

Thanks for looking and your kind comments everyone!

Trooper, I use a combination of textures, some original, some REX!

Fozzer, after watching three seasons of Flying Wild Alaska I'm cranking up the weather just to hone my skills :D

Thanks Bass! 8)

Shane, I haven't been here for awhile, remind me what FB is again our should I ask? Thanks for the compliment!

Happy flying all!

Outstanding set, Greg :D

BTW....rain is not prevalent on the East side of the Cascades in Washington.....due to the "rain shadow" effect created by the mountains ;)

We're practically a desert here in Omak

Thanks Chuck! My oldest daughter lives in Bellview so I don't get out to your parts! I should have said 'the West' because it's raining here in California
