Hi Doug... :)

Here are the two shots you requested...

VOR #2...no way to change the heading...

To the left of VOR #2 where you see OBS and HDG...these guages do not use the + or - either...I have to drag my mouse arrow across the panel to move them...the OBS will only move one way... ::)
Image

3 Guages will not change from the settings you now see no matter how long the flight or what I do...

Hydraulic Pressure...Oil Temp...Cyl Head Temp...

Not sure what guage is supposed to be in the spot that say's COMMANDER...perhaps ADF but not sure...I do not see anywhere on the Radio Stack to tune in an ADF so I am just guessing...

Thanks folks for looking into this.

One other question regarding the Forums.

I know my two shots actually refer to my post but

Hi Doug. What I don't know about FS gauges would fill several large volumes. All I can say is that the gauges defined in the Panel.cfg appear to be all present & correct.

I suspect the problem with the clickable functions on the HSI & VOR #2 is more due to a fault with the VC than the gauges. The VOR #2 is the gauge included in the FSX default Cessna182s.dll. I tried substituting it for the default Mooney Bravo gauge with no luck. By reducing the size of the gauge the adjustment knob becomes visible but still not functional.

3 Guages will not change from the settings you now see no matter how long the flight or what I do...

Hydraulic Pressure...Oil Temp...Cyl Head Temp...

These gauges are all included in 200D.cab which I assume was created specially for this aircraft. They all appear to be working. I can only assume any problem is with the appropriate entries in Aircraft.cfg.

Not sure what guage is supposed to be in the spot that say's COMMANDER...perhaps ADF but not sure...I do not see anywhere on the Radio Stack to tune in an ADF so I am just guessing...

No gauges are missing so I assume that's just a cover over a spare hole in the panel.

Thanks Doug for your time and help.... ;)

This is a great general aviation aircraft for flight simulator and hope somehow we will see these problems fixed in the future.    ;)

Hi Doug... :)

I deleted this aircraft and then did a new download and install.

I thought maybe that would fix the problems but it did not.

The problems still remain the same.

Wonder who else has this aircraft and if they have the same problem?

I have the same problems Doug.
The VOR2 cannot be adjusted, most likely Piglet forgot to model the rotary button.
The VOR1 works normally.
The empty gauge "Commander" is surely intended to be like that. On many VFR planes you can find empty spots, meant for optionnal avionics I suppose.

However the rest of the plane works quite well.
I could also make a small test flight with the AA-5B. Compared to the Meyers, this bird is showing is age (in terms of 3D modelling. It was one of Piglet's first planes, while the Meyers is one of the latests ones), but it still looks quite good, especially with the repaints I talked about earlier. Couldn't resist taking a shot. The FSX default Real Weather looks spectacular in Norway  8-)

I've already checked & double-checked this file Doug. Reinstalling it will not fix the problems.

Wonder who else has this aircraft and if they have the same problem?

The file has been downloaded 15,442 times from Simviation alone since being posted in December 2008. I can't find any updates for it on the usual FS websites so if anyone noticed these problems they haven't reported them to the author.
