Fantastic Little Tool - Weather Theme Creator

Postby ManuelL » Sun Jun 10, 2012 6:50 am

Hi,

I just came across this little weather theme tool (made for FS9, but works just fine for FSX).

It is not new and probably you know it already.

Here are some shots of some my first tests:

Extreme tropical storms (2-3 lightnings at the same time)

Hot and dry summer day:

Extremely cold, but dry winter day:

Thanks for looking!

The download is here on the same site.

When you downloaded and installed it. There is an English readme included with the program. Basically you play around with the cloud distribution patterns and sliders. When you click on go, it creates the files for the weather theme. If you are using FSX, it won't find the FS9 directory, so the files are safed to the main directory of the weather theme creator. From there you can copy them into the FSX/weather/themes folder. That's all.  :)

I could only save one, after that it doesn't save in the WE folder or anywhere else even tough it asks if I want to overwrite when I save it again...

You have to give it a different file name and title. (The title and name will appear in the FSX theme selection menue).
