...converted one of the FTX AI Metros into a flyable aircraft to satisfy my desire!

The scenery is King Island Airport (YKII) improved as part of one of the OZX freeware scenery packs.

Sure it's not great as the only control surfaces that move are the flaps and I aliased it to the King Air panel and sound but at least it works in FSX and looks better than the only FS2004 model I could find as a flyable model.

Until someone makes a good Metro for FSX I'll probably just keep using this. I'm sure there's enough 737s out there, what about the little guys? XD

Yeah it may not have all the moving parts nor the graphics of most current FS models (which makes sense as it was AI) but as I made the jump from FS98 to FSX back in 2007, I'm really not all that fussed about them.

Dont know the timeframe, but Iris is developing one!

Iris has 2 other aircraft ahead of this one, but the initial renderings look great!
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Does look like one to watch indeed. They've got the flying pencil look right in those renders that's for sure!

I remember trying to get myself in one. Being rather tall it's a bit awkward but I still find them appealing.
