hard to believe it's fs9.....always seemed like a sunny day in fs9 was so much more sunny than in fsx....that's one of the things i miss about fs9 ...but maybe that's my illusion....
Many thanks,Yan..

When I start up all my flights, the first thing I do is to select... "nice weather for flying", typically around mid-day in Summer, or Autumn (nice golden trees), with mostly clear skies, and the amount and type of Autogen carefully selected, to generate a lovely, cheerful, sunny day for touring the countryside around me at low level.
In FS 2004, careful placing of the aircraft in Autogen scenery can sometimes replicate a sunny day. Certain parts of the scenery is ready made for sunny surfaces, (avoiding the dark green bits!)...

..and selecting a suitable area in; VOZ 1.8 can often introduce warm, sunny effects...
Another thing I have done long ago: In my "Ground Environment Pro" I have adjusted (lightened) the RGB/Hue, etc, settings, somewhat, to make the overall scenery brighter....

I like flying on nice, sunny days....with my trusty FS 2004...It always makes me feel happy and cheerful!... [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]...which is nice...!!
