First shots with the new card

Postby Jayhawk Jake » Sat Feb 18, 2012 2:28 am

I don't think I actually mentioned it here, but last weekend I bought a new graphics card...an EVGA Nvidia GTX 560 TI 2GB.  So far I'm liking it, able to tune FS a bit better and overall just better performance.  Also took an advantage to play with REX settings, and well...take a look and let me know what you think:

Lucky you, with your new Card, Jake!..

For me, its my lowly Intel P4 dual core 2.8 GHz Processor which is preventing me from using my FSX to the max (or anywhere near it!).

Paul...FS 2004... ;)...!
Win 8.1 64-bit. DX11. Advent Tower. Intel i7-3770 3.9 GHz 8-core. 8 GB System RAM. AMD Radeon HD 7700 1GB RAM. DVD ROM. 2 Terra Byte SATA Hard Drive. Philips 17" LCD Monitor. Saitek Cyborg X Fly-5 Joystick. ...and a Briggs and Stratton Petrol Lawn Mower.

Very nice! The third one is my pick. I'd love to have that framed and hung on my office wall.

Thanks all.  Paul, there's nothing wrong with FS9, in fact, I may go play it later and just max out everything...

Lazek yes, this is REX.  Great addon!
