Some shots from this week

Postby mfaulisi » Thu Feb 02, 2012 9:52 pm

Went on a VOR to VOR kick, finally learned how to do the autopilot feature in the Jayhawk, and did some formation flight again.

Great shots 8-) 8-)

Here's your last shot......I ran the original through BDSizer (Freeware) and got it within limits. You should try out this program......it's really easy to use and I've never noticed any quality loss in the re-size 8-)

Sweet thanks!! I thought GIMP was an improvement over Paint.NET when it came to that but this will help a lot.  :)

Try using just the regular old MS paint. Don't laugh... this is what I use ALL THE TIME. It has GREAT compression, with minimal loss in quality.

this is a really grey shot, but here is what MS paint does for compression... (this image is less then 40 KB)

I will try to get some more vibrant images to compare!

here is your image, resaved in JPEG format with MS paint. (it will be higher quality, if directly saved from BMP to jpg. Not BMP, to jpg, to JPEG (in ms paint lol)

Shots look good... :)

I have been using BD Sizer almost all the time to resize as I find it is the easiest program to use... :)

I love the S-70 family of copters, which include the jayhawk.  it is a great aircraft.  Is the P-40 in a racing scheme?

I always thought the V-tail bonanza was a beutiful plane.  my great uncle owned one.  It is one of the planes i have wanted for a while in FSX.  BTW, great pics.
