Cheers, chums (ILS landing)

Postby machineman9 » Tue Jan 31, 2012 5:07 pm

Thank you for all of those who helped me to sort out my ILS approach problems.

I did a flight from Newcastle to Manchester IFR with an ILS landing at the end. This time I managed to get the autobrake stuck on and ATC was going nuts when I sat there on the runway  :P

Very nice! I'm glad you solved your ILS problems.
I just ignore the ATC they can wait :P

My home airport :D you should look at UK2000s freeware airports for the U.K there all very good quality and free! Very frame rate friendly to.

I don't know if you were using real world weather but at the moment the wind is favoring 5L (the one your using) and 5R which is pretty rare, it's nearly always 23R that's used 90% of them time!

Great. Glad to see you've figured it out.
Sadly I was having internet problems yesterday and so I couldn't help :-[.
But anyway have fun doing ILS. 8-)
And How many FPSis that bloom taking away? :o
Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

Well the game calls it 6L, I guess that's just the rounding from the bearing 055. But yep, that one indeed. Steady winds, it's just how they vectored me. I really do hate ATC in this game... Contact approach, contact center, contact approach, contact center, contact leeds. FFFFUUU!!!
