Very nice shots...well done... :)

Passing seven plus decades now with six with my head in the air I can honestly say I never saw an aircraft I did not like or flew.

I was going to post the Douglas DC3 or the Consolidated PBY5A/Canso/Catalina as ugly aircraft I knew.

But ugly in the sense to work with not looks.

The Consolidated PBY5A/Canso/Catalina we used when the ice moved off the bay or lakes.

I can certainly appreciate where you're coming from Doug and under similar circumstances any "flight" from any aircraft could turn "ugly". I rather think the category was intended to generate strange looking aircraft. In the final analysis I doubt the ugliest aircraft will win this comp, it will ultimately boil down to the most imaginative, best screen capture........... Ziggy

Glad you like them Doug. On average each edit takes me about 10 hours. All the aircraft shown are from FS screenshots, then integrated into photographic backgrounds. You might say editing is my passion, but unfortunately I had a stroke several months ago and haven't been able to edit a picture since. As a matter of fact SimV is my therapy, learning to fly again and trying to capture decent screenshots. I'm making a lot of progress, but still a long way from doing any serious editing. Thanks again Doug for your very kind words. I appreciate you taking the time to comment................ Ziggy aka Tom

Nice shots Ziggy - I think you made the right choice of Vimy, the original WW1 bomber version is much prettier than this ugly bird (no offence to Vickers :-[)
