My thoughts? Verdict's not quite out yet. It's awesome, no doubt, because it's satellite photos. And over places that FS makes a desert or a checkerboard, it's incredible, night and day to default. However, there's no autogen. At altitudes over a few thousand feet it's no big deal, you can't see autogen anyways. Low and slow I wish there were trees and houses.
Performance? Excellent. With no autogen the sim runs great. Sometimes it slows down while loading textures, and I need more testing to know for sure.
Here are some shots. If you guys want, tomorrow I could do some comparison shots of FSX with and without TileProxy to help you decide if you want it. And if you give me a place you want to see, I can try to get a pic for you.
Sorry the pictures are so dark, I didn't start saving them til the sun was setting. I'll get daytime shots tomorrow
This is over the middle of Kansas. MUCH better than default, but see the blue? It's a lower quality satellite photo because it's in a rural area. Still btter than default IMO

On approach to KICT, and why I got this installed. See that little river/lake and those apartment buildings? That's where I live.

And the grand canyon. Again, better than default, but worth no autogen? Can't say yet...

Again, let me know if you'd like to see anything from TileProxy. Comments welcome
