PART I

.......I planned for this leg to take me from Wenatchee(KEAT) to Seattle(KSEA) navigating by VOR.

My dog Peanut is my First Officer and in charge of fueling the plane and monitoring fuel consumption......she wanted to take a nap thuogh........

Just after takeoff......maneuvering to intercept VOR radial 253 to Seattle...

On course......crossing the Columbia River...

Climbing to 10,000 ft......mountains to cross ahead....
Image

Now that I'm deep in the Cascades Range.......I notice that I (I mean Peanut) made a grave miscalculation.....where did all the fuel go????
Image

Circling around to make an unplanned stop at Bandera State(4W0).
Image

Maybe I can talk a farmer out of some of his crop duster fuel........

Thanks 4 looking :)
