So I was out trawling the internet today and I found a freeware copy of the Magnificent ALPHASIM Su-33 Flanker D and the Admiral Kuznetsov Aircraft Carrier. I quickly downloaded and installed these two beautiful pieces of software and was going to donate/pay for them, only to discover that ALPHASIM closed its doors back in August '10. So I'm not sure if I've pirated it, as I have no intention of being a pirate, but I'm also not sure as to where any money should go......
And I also figured a way to resize my pics without pixelating them as much as before, so thats a bonus!
So, after playing around with the Kuznetsov and Flanker for a few hours, I decided to change tack and do some traps on a USN carrier with an F/A-18E hornet in an Australian scheme I like. Somehow, I ended up in the Persian Gulf, flying off the USS Kitty Hawk (Yeah, I know she's supposed to be retired, but so is FS2004.).
Here's one of a rapid climb, Per Ardua ad Astra (Reach for the Stars).

Here I am cruising on CAP watching the sun go down. I love this one. Its my current desktop!

And to prove to myself that I could do it, I landed my Hornet on the Admiral Kuznetsov stationed in the Persian Gulf at the other end to the Kitty Hawk. And promptly forgot to screenshot any of it. But here's me, parked. Can you spot the wrong plane?

Catapults? Pah! Who needs em?

Oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit..... Have I got enough speed to stay airborne??? I didn't think this through very well!

Yep. I'm good. Them Russians are crazy as hell, but so are us Aussies! Firewall the throttles, hang on tight and laugh like mad!

Thanks for looking, and comments are most welcome!
