Hi Robert...

Sorry I only saw one real aeroplane there...the last shot...

Just kidding...well done...they all look great... ;)

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

I'm actually condsidering picking up the A2A Spit pack. I've always had a fondness for them...slick smooth lines and one beast of an aircraft. If their Acu-Sim version as is realistic and indepth as PC Pilot is saying it is - man oh man. I may just stop flying other aircraft all together!

In the meantime though - any susgested freeware Spitfires?

The A2A Spit with Accusim is really THAT realistic. I have it and despite the fact that I don't really like the Spitfire in real life, I'm just addicted to it in FSX. Also, I don't know what they did with the textures, but they look just good, especially in the way they reflect the sun light. You can really ZOOM on that model  8-)

For freeware, I would recommend the one from Aeroplane Heaven, it has a nice external model and the VC is quite cool too. The prop would need a bit more transparent texture, but nothing critical.

Thanks for the susgestion, I'll have to check it out. See if I can't convince CINCHOUSE to let me splurge the $50 on the A2A model.
