Thanks Chuck...very much appreciated... ;)

The second last picture Chuck I would be leaning ahead looking out the front window and to the left...still controlling the bank and height by visual reference as you see in the last picture.

Several things are going through your head almost all at once...
-wind and water condition
-water obstructions...logs...boats...swimmers
-power lines and other aircraft
-best approach to the camp
-carb heat and landing checklist
-it is summer...warm in the cabin for the passengers who
probably rarely fly in a bush aircraft and at this height
-gas cans, motor boat engine fuel cans...what is the smell
like back there
-these are only a few of the things that cross your mind
while still concentrating on the landing

And above all else...Don't shake up the Wobbly Pop... ;D

Very nice Doug. :)

Love the first shot of 'father and son'.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Thanks for the comments Greg and Larry...much appreciated... :)

Greg it only becomes scary when it goes from being a Career to a Job... ;)

Larry that is one thing the aviator has to be aware of, just how much damage can be done to smaller aircraft or other objects behind your aircraft.

I saw a single radial engine Otter blow over a Cessna 172 one hot afternoon on the tarmac just making a turn.

I also saw the damage done by a Curtiss C46 that was blown back by a tornado and the port main tire rolled over a Piper 140, crushed it like a tin can... :o

Again thanks for the comments folks... ;)
