Water Sports...

Postby patchz » Sun Feb 27, 2011 8:42 am

Ever since I watched the video Sean posted in "How much water for a Cub on floats" I've wanted to see what I could do. I'm sure Ozzy and some others could do better, but I had a ball.

I just got in the Cub and started looking for small farm ponds.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

[font=Comic Sans MS][color=#0000ff]That video had to spawn some stunts. Very nice, both sets L.T.

Wow...wonderful shots Larry...well done... :)

I just saw that video yesterday and there are many OFF (Ontario Flying Farmers) that have much the same set up.

Awesome Larry, is that meant to be a water runway?
It sure looks like it was intentionally shaped that way....cool......may I ask what scenery?

Thanks Chuck. :)

No, just a pond. It's PNW, somewhere east of Seattle.

Just saw the two topics, some tricky landings in nice shots, I have to say :)

The trick is getting turned around.

Not that tricky actually, just use the paddle :)

Thanks Stephane. :)

Uh, that's the problem. The paddle only comes with accu-sim and I don't have that, yet. ::)
