South Carolina One

Postby TRflyman01 » Sun Jan 02, 2011 11:55 am

I'm excited about Southwest coming to KGSP in a couple of months so I started on a fictional SC One paint. I kicked around a few ideas and I think I have decided on this scheme for the Posky 737-700.

Haven't done anything to the engine textures yet but will not leave as is.
C&C and suggestions welcome!

Heck, send the shot into Southwest themselves, good design they could use. Very nicely done.

Mike, that is the best SW livery I have ever seen. Great job. :)
My Grandfather came here from that area and I still have relatives in the Westminster area. I have not been there in a long time, but I remember it as being very beautiful.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Thanks Larry! I live pretty close to the N.C. line and the mountains do make a very beautiful horizon.

Ben, the only DC-10 I have for FSX is the CLS payware. Did you have a specific one in mind? Will be glad to do one for you if I can. Let me know which model you would like it for.

I don't fly many commercial/passenger aircraft (espacially the larger ones) but, that re-paint looks sweet 8-)

Ben, sorry it took so long. I haven't had much time to work on it the past couple of days. Thanks for requesting it. It has been awhile since I flew the DC-10 and I had forgotten how much I enjoyed it.

Southwest never operated the DC-10 but I think their paint scheme looks pretty good on it.

I have a full day planned today but I should be able to put everything together and upload tonight if you still want it.

I don't know it it's the angle, the lighting, or the aircraft Mike, but it looks even better on the 10 to me. :)

awesome work!  I moved to Colorado 5 years ago from the Greenville area. We lived about 15 minutes or so from the airport in Simpsonville.
