Platte Island

Postby CHUCK79 » Mon Dec 20, 2010 6:44 pm

Found this nice little photo real island scenery here at SimV today.....pretty cool 8-)

Just a short strip in the middle of the ocean but, it looks great (especially the color of the water around the island). It could use some small buildings or some trees/shrubs to give it more of a 3-D look though :)
Here's some shots....

You lost your bomb in number four - now I see why you want some buildings  :D

Great shots Chuck. #1 is exceptional. And nice choice of aircraft. :)
I agree, it needs some buildings and trees, but is still very cool.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

There is a part II called Denis Island that I downloaded today but, haven't had time to try out yet.
I assume it is a nearby island :)
