Late-Summer Tahoe

Postby Cessnaporsche01 » Sun Sep 19, 2010 1:48 pm

Here's my entry (third ever):

Piglet's awesome PC-6C over Lake Tahoe; default scenery, looking south-ish, with all graphics settings cranked up to highest on a 1900x1080 screen.

Unfortunately, downsizing messes everything up. :(

Looks great, except the plane has lots of jaggies on it. What did you use to resize?

GraphicsGale. I didn't want to do anything fancy. I used IrfanView for one before, but it looked really edited after I did so. Next time, I think I'll just set my screen to 1024x768 and save as a jpeg.

Why wouldn't you want to do something fancy. This is a contest and you can win a payware add-on!

Next time, I suggest using Paint.NET to resize your screenshot. It does a great job. Will look even better if you leave your screen resolution high and then resize the screenshot in Paint.NET. Will give a nice soft look.

Well, to me, something fancy means editing. That's illegal. :P

Resizing is not editing. Doesn't count for that.  ;)
