[color=#000000]Thanks guys.

Dave, it's not Rand McNally, it's FSWidget map.
I would be lost

without FSWidget. I run it on a second monitor every time I fly. I keep one eye on it for interesting looking terrain, place names, and other features. In this case, my places to fly list had an entry that Okanogan River Valley was a good place to fly, leaving from Oroville, WA. I took off and headed north into BC and followed the valley for a while. Then I noticed something interesting a couple of ridges to the east and ended up here. Revelstoke is about a third of the way from Kamloops to Calgary on Hwy 1 and sits at the south end of Revelstoke Lake and the southwest edge of Mt. Revelstoke National Park.
Sometimes I find them by accident, sometimes I hear of a place on TV or the Net and go looking. In either case, FSWidgets is invaluable.
