Even the guns work. Have not figured out how to make the rockets fire though.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Looks good Larry especially the last two shots... ;)

Always did like the looks of that cockpit, did the actual aircraft carry it's own steps at the rear of the pod, hmmm, can't remember.... ;D

Thanks Doug. :)

I don't know if all did, but I found a few shots of parked ones that did have it.

Very cool plane 8-)
I've been building a 1/48 scale P-38 from Academy models for a while now.

[color=#000000]Thanks Chuck. :)

The P-38 has long been a favorite of mine. I built a plastic model when I was a wee one, not too long ago. ::)

Yes, they had plastic models back then.

Maybe it's just me but it looks a lot more like a fighter than those F16's  :).

I would love to see a heritage flight with a P-38 and a F-35. :)

Nice shots, BTW!

Thanks. :)
It'll have to be by someone else. I don't have the F-35. It's on the wish list, but rather low priority.
