If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

RE: The propellers

What happened is i use AirTrafficFX from Flight1 to get the two aircraft into formation then when i go back into FSX the game is paused (thus the stopped propellers) Once i take it off pause the game locks up. At this time i believe it is a lack of memory problem....having an Alienware (6gb memory) apparently doesn't mean anything to FSX lol.
