I would love to sit at one of those wing windows! Then again, would feel like I'm flying sideways.

What is that? :o

It looks something like a model I built a few years back of a German WW2 jet bomber that never got off the drawing board before the war ended. As the story goes, it was supposed to be capable of high altitude trans-atlantic flight with the intended mission of bombing major East Coast US cities.

Funny you mentioning that, I was watching an episode of Voyage to the bottom of the sea on DVD and in the episode Nelson and Crane are flying to Washington DC in the flying sub. As they make their approach to National airport, you get a view out the forward viewport but it looks as if their flying sideways as the view is stock footage from a chase plane of an airliner setting down. ;D
