f-35 first flight

Postby jlab58 » Sun Aug 01, 2010 7:57 pm

i mean my first flight on f-35 by dino's at simmarket
Image
i like the blue effect of the a/b, even if i'd prefer whiter, more like a blow torch effect.
Image
i think the textures need more finish to look stronger
Image
the commands respond well
Image
a very comprehensive cockpit
Image
even if i failed miserably at landing , the speed was good but my descend rate sucked,i enjoy the
ride and the plane. and as someone said before at a very reasonnable price.

Nice shots!

btw: you could have chosen something like Edwards Airbase rather then the short strip at Gibralta for a test flight...  ;) ;D

It looks like a great model.  Hats off to him for producing it.  Makes me jealous that I can't run FSX.  It will look even better when the correct afterburner effect is applied.

unfortunatly there's a downside for selling such a plane not long after it as been created. i explain, since it's still a model under development many features are top secret  ( or so it seems) so there's not so much info avalable about the fan system for vertical take off ,for example. so this sim doesn't take off vertically. let's hope that someone will be able to figure a way to make it work in some future.

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

You might want to see the bit about the manual about enabling the 4096 high quality textures, will make it look better.

I'm sticking with my trusty F-22. The F-35 is just a fat, slower version of the F-22, don't ya know?  ;D

well gtirob01 i bought this baby because it was dino's model and was expecting a close to the real thing model. only after reading the docs included that i realised that there was a STOL version and it would have been fun. then yes i was a bit dissapointed. but i love the glass cockpit ,even if the controls look a little too zen. there's so few buttons!
what's wrong about fatso. yes,it look like a row boat, but not the kind you win races but the kind you go fishing with dad. but i still like me boat!

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.
