When flying multi-player, must the both of you (and any others involved) fly the same plane?
I am homebrewer. I had 633 posts when for some unknown reason, my account disappeared...

Of course not. You can choose the plane that you want, same for all of your teammate.
However, the only thing that must be ensured is that everybody has installed all of the selectable planes, so that everybody can "see" what the other has selected.

If you fly with a guy that is using a plane that you do not have in your hangar, there's a chance that you would see him as a Cessna or something like that.

Cool shots Shane. I don't know if flying in formation with the L-159 is easy. I guess not, that plane is seriously underpowered. It's slow, but the lack of power makes it difficult to catch the plane in front of you...
