Hurry up and wait...

Postby Flying Trucker » Tue Mar 23, 2010 11:52 am

Goodly afternoon all... :)

FSX and Vista
FS Water Configurator
HDE Clouds
Cape Pole (Z71) Alaska...MoCat's Snow Dog Tours
DeHavilland DHC-2 Beaver
Freeware all right here at Simviation

So you want to be an aviator eh?  Oh a Bush Pilot at that.

Well here is what a lot of it is all about.

Just like the title says...."Hurry up and wait"... ;D

Beached on ramp last night as water was too shallow for Beaver...easier to load...overnighted
Loaded and waiting for fog to lift.
Image

It is foggy like this quite a bit...no problem taking off but what if you lose an engine on take-off in the fog...where are the hills?

Fog is gone.
So are the dock boys...probably filling their bellies with bacon, beans, eggs, toast and lots of hot coffee.
I just knew I should have been a truck driver.   ;D    ::)

Thanks for looking, comments and advice most welcome.   ;)

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

I do not knock flying however I do try to point out to all the young folks and some others that aviation is not all money in the bank.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Goodly morning all... :)

It used to drive the Operations Manager, Dispatcher and Sales Staff nuts when I would walk through looking at all the passengers waiting and say out loud:
"Time to spare...go by air".... ;D
