Horizon Simulations VFR Western Isles

Postby Mr Shanks » Sun Jan 31, 2010 10:05 am

A few more shots from Horizons VFR Western Isles. Thier web site says they plan to release the whole of Scotand, which for me is a must have. No frame rate hits with the software, and it is simply stunning all over. So much so, I ordered the box set of the UK (version 2). 9 DVDs in total. Thats going to take a while to install  ;D ;D

Plane is the Quest Kodiak. Also a great peice of kit, with far to many paints  :D

Hope you enjoy.

Notice the lack of landmass on the GPS unit. Its the  only thing thats not quite right, no doubt this can and will be resolved by Horizon.

That is very cool!  Being photo scenery, does it have seasonal variations by any chance??

Good question, no it doesnt. Not even in winter setting. Shame, but understandable.

Beautiful but expensive scenery.  Think I'll wait for the Scottish mainland before taking the plunge.

I might have to get that Quest Kodiak, sharp looking bird with a decent looking VC...how does she sound?  Default or did they customize it?
