The Boeing 787 Dream Liner Maiden Flight

Postby Fly2e » Wed Dec 16, 2009 6:11 pm

I tried to recreate the maiden flight of Boeing's latest aircraft.
After almost 10 years in production she took off from Boeing Field in
Washington yesterday for it's 5 hour first flight.

Umm.. not to burst your bubble, but didn't the flight take off from Everett and land at Boeing Field?

Yes, it took off from Paine Field, and landed at Boeing Field. Great looking shots. This the CamSim model?

Last shot looks like a Boeing ad!

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

...for it's 5 hour first flight.

I thought the flight was only three hours due to bad weather. And it was originally going to be 4 hours.

It is the CamSim model here:
http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/perlf ... l&q=camsim

It is a FS2004 Model. I had to import the default 737-800 sound & panel & edit the cfg file.
