I always chuckle at the scene where they shoe the B-52 flying low level over the artic with a B-17 shadow below the B-52. :)

The Megafort" is available at Simviation.  It's called the B-52M.  You should be able to find it with the "Search" tab.

Anyone ever read Flight of the Old Dog?

Terrific novel, and it's the inspiration behind that "Megafortress".

Loomex made a couple of B-52 "Old Dog" models for FS2k2, they are here at SimV and work great in FS9 , but not at all in FSX.

That's one of my all time favorite books. :)

Not to ignore these great shots, but speaking of Dr. Strangeglove ("glove", not "love"   ;) )... that would be another cool one for MSFS: a version of the bomber from that movie, complete with an animation of a nuke with Slim Pickens riding it... :D

And of course, the kneepad would include the survival kit list:

"...one forty-five caliber automatic; two boxes of ammunition; four days' concentrated emergency rations; one drug issue containing antibiotics, morphine, vitamin pills, pep pills, sleeping pills, tranquilizer pills; one miniature combination Russian phrase book and Bible; one hundred dollars in rubles; one hundred dollars in gold; nine packs of chewing gum; one issue of prophylactics; three lipsticks; three pair of nylon stockings. Shoot, a fella' could have a pretty good weekend in Vegas with all that stuff!"

:D
