A Mentor, a Fury, and clouds

Postby gtirob01 » Thu Nov 27, 2008 12:33 am

Took up the Alphasim Mentor (FS2004 version), then a new repaint of the SF8 Sabre (Fury), and got some new cloud textures. C&C welcome

Strange thing happened when coming in for a landing in the Fury. Was just about to make my turn onto final when the engine cut out, and it wouldnt start back. Had plenty of fuel, so Im not sure what the deal was. But I had enough altitude and speed to dead stick it and made a smooth landing!

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Awesome shots with the Saber, especially the first one with that great angle!

Yes, the sabre tends to turn off when idle, and for me is some unpleasent to fly and land... too technical, have a huge manual that one must read, but no time... great pics..

Nice shot's! Where did you find that repaint of the mentor? I think the one I grabbed only came with two, but I might be wrong, but it looks great!
Is it even possible to take a bad shot of that Sabre? :D

I got the mentor repaint fro avsim. its titled "NAS Oceana T-34C, VF-101" in the FS2004 repaints section.

I dont think it is possible to get a bad screenshot with the Sabre! Im still amazed this thing wasnt payware!

By the way... all shots were in FSX
