Stretching these rules

Postby Layne. » Fri Oct 31, 2008 7:47 pm

I don't know if this image will be allowed but i thought it was very original and creative (for me anyway  ;D)
This is a 747-400 (Default) running on 3 engines as this aircraft has proved over time that it can run on 3 engines perfectly.

I think this might stretch the rules just a tad too far.

8-)

Now that's thinking outside the box! ;) I wish there was a way to just lose the whole nacelle, that would have been perfect! ;D 8-)
Good luck with this one. :)

I'm gonna go ahead and say good thinking, it definately stretches the rules a bit, the judges will decide as they see fit, but by all means, way to use your imagination and push the "system" a bit.

Lol, you could have cropped out the engine.

It would have been a nice touch if it was draggin' contrails, cause then you could have easily seen that it was only on three engines!!
I hope the judges allow this one, it's creative as heck!

hey thats cool! if there was a five engine jet contest, you could use the rarely seen 747 carrying a spare engine inboard of the inner port engine!
