Trip to YRED

Postby Layne. » Mon Oct 27, 2008 5:53 am

Hey guys,

Haven't been posting much or seeing much of the Flightsim world lately, mainly due tot he fact i got bored of it... :S Started up FSX again re-installed and back to default (Except a few repaints of default aircraft and Nicks Sun Fix :D), So i am back and here are a few screenshots of a multiplayer flight on Tufnel's server flying to YRED (forgot the departure airport)
Can't turn up the graphics heaps far but this is the best my laptop can push out and keep 10 FPS which is flyable for me.

Can't be that bad, got some great resolution on the ground textures, especially in the first and the golf course. ;)

Have you tried the performance(resized) textures un the misc. section here at simv? Not a huge gain in frames, but I take any gain I can get! ;) even with a 2core and 2gigs of RAM on higher settings my FSX runs pretty slow. :( But FS9 runs like a dream! And with the right set of textures it can look fairly close to FSX, except the water, still looking for the perfect water add on. :)
