start from the back of the carrier and you should have enough lift by the time you reach the front tip of the carrier! Once you learn to fly that F18 off the flight deck and land on the arrestor cables. You'll be an ace!

Nice shots! although that F18 with a russian star on it looks suspicious! Happy hunting!
