the scenery is called "Valle de Aosta," by Fulvio Mazzokan. it can be found here...

The aircraft is the JustFlight Spitfire Mk.I demo version. it can be found here...
----->>>http://www.justflight.com/demos.asp
It is wearing a skin by John Terrell that can be found here...
----->>>http://library.avsim.net/search.php?Sea ... &Go=Search
It says that the skin is for the Mk.IX included in the full payware package, but it works seamlessly on the demo Mk.I... try it, it works!
Further, the Spitfire is using a prop stolen from another aircraft... in particular, I am using the modified prop textures by Bob Rivera for the MAAM-SIM DC-3/R4D/C-47 package. the modified prop textures can be downloaded here...

I hope you like the shot!

Very nice, im not to fond of the scenery, but the spit is exceptional.  Along with the ones you posted in the freeware section earlier :D

Yep, i tend to agree. I did try some repaints on the justflight demo, and although they do work, theres the odd bit that was a little wrong as the paints were for later marks of spit. I did faff a bit with the .bmps but in the end i couldnt be botherd!!!

But nice work! :)

I have that same scenery. I dunno... maybe its the lighting on the mountains that make it look overexposed if you know what I mean. I do think the Spit looks great tho!
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Maybe that's the trick to get some better 'freeware' entries, get the screen shot sponsor to provide some demo planes for the contestants..
what do you think?

Great shot! Love the washed-out photorealistic feel of the picture!
