Russian stuff and AI

To convince Sean to install Trafficsystem.ru AI packs... and just for the fun of it

Image
Gazprom... one of those repaints that goes well with every location.

Image
Oldtimer alert... no that Il-18 isnt in trafficsystem.ru packages. Transaero flies 747s by the way... ex Virgin Atlantic -200s and a 747-400

Image
'West corner' of Domodedovo... Sibir and Transaero are the big ones here.

Image
Atlant-Soyuz special paint... for the previous Tu-154M model

Some scenery has nice features that are tailor made to specific aircraft
Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and [url=http://an24.uw.hu/]An-24RV[/ur

Very, very, NICE!!  :o

Now to start the long process of installing some of these packages. I definitely need the Rossiya one, since Pulkovo is out of the picture in real life now.
I could use some more Atlant-Soyuz too.....and that maroon/silver Tu-134, completely forgot the airline......and the Skyexpress....and, and, and, and........

You've got me convinced, I just need to find time to do it!  :)

P.S. That Gazpromavia (sp?) IL-76  looks great!

Those look really good !
I need to reinstall my Russian airports, to check if they work in FSX.
Does World of AI provides any Russian AI packages ? I do not know the major companies there, excepted Aeroflot of course...

Only KD Avia and Transaero. The one for Transaero is pretty old though, a newer, better one is coming. ;)

How do I get RATS AI working? I'm downloading a few packs but it's really confusing.

How do I get RATS AI working? I'm downloading a few packs but it's really confusing.

I'll give a step-by-step instruction..

1: get both zip files for the airline (one is repaints, the other one the flightplans). Repaints come in 'full' and 'optimized' version, full has every reg as a separate paint
2: extract them to temp folder
2a(only when you have multiple flightplans) get the correct flightplan set. UUEE one should work in most conditions.
3: Texture pack contains texture file and cfg entries, copy these to the correct aircraft
4: Renumber flightplan and aircraft parts of the flightplan files so that all liveries in the texture pack are covered. For example 'Air Lines of Kulban' has one generic texture and one special... the generic one doesnt have a reg number and is used for all except the one that is the special (with reg number).
5: follow ttools hel text here on simv
